The best M13B loadout for Modern Warfare 2 Ranked Play

While many players in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Ranked Play will naturally gravitate toward the TAQ-56 or the Kastov 762 in the assault rifle class, there are other options. There are only four weapons restricted in the AR class, the Kastov-74u, M4, Chimera, and the ISO Hemlock, with the latter two being DLC weapons. However, for whatever reason, players are allowed to use the M13B, another DLC weapon, as freely as they would like. Although the M13B is not as strong as the TAQ-56 or the Kastov rifles, it has a decent loadout for Ranked Play.

The M13B is currently seen as a terrific public match assault rifle, but not much else. It simply doesn’t have the stats or the overall performance of the other top ARs in MW2. However, this can be slightly rectified if players use the M13B’s best overall set of attachments for competitive play.

To see the full loadout for the M13B in Ranked Play, keep reading below.

  • Barrel: 14″ Bruen Echelon
  • Stock: Ravage-8
  • Underbarrel: FSS Sharkfin
  • Rear Grip: Bruen Flash Grip
  • Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity

We have opted not to equip an optic for this loadout, as the M13B has decent enough ironsights. However, if players want to equip an optic, we recommend swapping out the 5.56 High Velocity ammo for a basic red dot sight, like the Slimline Pro.

The rest of the loadout is primarily focused on mobility and recoil control. The 14″ Bruen Echelon and FSS Sharkfin both reduce recoil and improve overall stability. The Ravage-8 and Bruen Flash Grip increase the rifle’s aim down sights time and sprint-to-fire speed, giving players a well-rounded weapon. Finally, if players keep it, the 5.56 High Velocity ammo boosts bullet velocity and recoil control.

The M13B won’t be replacing the TAQ-56 anytime soon, but if players want to use it in Ranked, they now have the most optimal loadout for it.
